Robert Joseph
Robert started his city career with ED & F Man back in 1997 working within their Futures & Options division, and then progressed to RBS covering the same products.
Roberts’s next move in the industry was a dealing role at a small cap broker and after two years moved to pursue his career and took his vast experience to an established larger cap broker to pursue a wider range of trading products, where he started trading equities on behalf of clients.
In 2002 Robert met Adam Stark & Altan Ali and together they founded Central Markets (London) Ltd in 2005 and have since grown the company to be a respected advisory broker within the industry.
I have been involved in the financial markets for most of my career, and have worked through many demanding situations which the financial markets have generated. My goal is to help clients understand the markets whilst protecting and growing their portfolio
Adam Stark
Adam completed his Business Economic degree in 2001 and started a trainee commodity broker role for TDF Commodities. It was here that he realised his passion for broking and helping clients in the stock broking industry. After moving to a larger stock broker and spending 6 months on their training programme, he quickly built his network of both professional and retail clients.
After two years Adam became Dealing Manager managing a number of desks ensuring client service was paramount across the company.
In a commoditised industry such as Advisory Stock Broking, the only real USP which cannot be copied is customer service and brand. I have a strong belief that ensuring clients’ perceptions and expectations of Central Markets are aligned. Which is vital to ensure our brand represents the professional service we provide.”
Altan Ali
Altan began his career at Barclays Bank within the international banking division. After two years he joined Sporting Index, the world leader in sports spread betting where he quickly became a market maker for a number of sports.
Realising that the financial markets was where his heart was, he stepped back into the financial industry and became an advisory stockbroker working for the same company as Robert and Adam.
He built the business plan for Central Markets and together with Robert and Adam has successfully built up the company from a financial and customer perspective.
Honesty, Transparency and Integrity are something I believe is fundamental in the financial services industry. At Central Markets I have ensured these key elements show this at every level and believe the sustainability of Central Markets is because of this ethos.
